This development was a PPP Regeneration of the Former Fatima Mansions housing scheme in Dublin. It was awarded to a JV Company consisting of Maplewood Homes and Elliott Group. The project involved the construction of 110 homes in phase 1 and the construction of 478 homes, a community centre, a leisure centre, 10 retail units and a 400 car space basement car park in phase 2.

The project was awarded to us on the 23rd June 2004 by Dublin City Council following a detailed competitive dialogue procedure. Construction commenced immediately on the phase 1 sector which already had planning as part of the process. A subsequent planning application for Phase 2 was submitted to An Bord Pleanala,

Planning was granted under a Part 8 procedure via An Bord Pleanala. The development consisted of 6 blocks built over a basement car park. The early enabling works involved the excavation of a largely contaminated site and the safe disposal of the resulting excavated material.

Phase 2 was highly phased with Blocks F, D, A, C & B being completed between mid 2008 & mid 2010.

All residential sales were handled by Hooke MacDonald and GPK Estates together with the developers internal sales team which was managed and overseen by Mark Elliott

Following the GFC unsold units were fitted out and rented with the result that 136 units in blocks C & F (the entire of these blocks) were held as a PRS development and ultimately sold to Kennedy Wilson Europe in 2014.
